Job Position: Contract Engineer
Reporting to: Deputy Section Manager
Division: A & A (Procurement Section)

Requirements

✅Education:

• University degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Technical, etc.)
• Certificate in Contract Management (FIDIC, MCIPS, or equivalent) preferred

✅Experience:

• Minimum 5 years in refinery or industrial settings
• Knowledge of Incoterm 2000/2010 and import/export procedures
• Experience with SAP contract management and spend analysis; SAP Ariba experience is a plus
• Proficiency in end-to-end contract management from pre-award to closeout
• Experience in contract development, bidding, and managing contractors/subcontractors

✅Job Purpose

The Contract Engineer plays a vital role in the Procurement Section, ensuring efficient organization and coordination of contract activities to meet department KPIs and annual targets.

✅Key Responsibilities

• Manage contract activities and bidding packages to align with contract strategy and timelines
• Collaborate with user departments to build effective contracting strategies and meet bidding schedules
• Ensure compliance with Vietnamese regulations  
• Handle bidder selection, document issuance, evaluation, and approvals
• Coordinate with relevant departments to prepare, review, and finalize contract documents
• Monitor delivery of materials and services to meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements
• Conduct performance evaluations for vendors and suppliers
• Provide guidance and training on contract policies and ensure timely contract reporting
