1. Responsibilities:
- Lead commissioning activities for main machinery systems, including power generation systems, propulsion systems, dynamic positioning (DP) systems, and engine room-related systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections, functional tests, and performance evaluations of main machinery components to verify compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement detailed commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists for main machinery systems, ensuring systematic and efficient execution of commissioning activities.
- Document commissioning activities comprehensively, maintaining accurate records, logs, and reports to track progress, identify issues, and facilitate timely resolution of technical challenges.
- Participate actively in sea trials and acceptance tests for main machinery systems, analyzing performance data, identifying deficiencies, and implementing corrective measures to optimize system functionality.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control procedures throughout the commissioning process, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
2. Requirements:
- Bachelor‘s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Must be minimum of 2 years experiences for marine shipbuilding industry and related to commissioning of main machinery
- Proficiency in English communication (both written and spoken), English reporting to facilitate effective collaboration with international teams and stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of power generation systems, propulsion systems, DP systems, and engine room-related systems used in marine and offshore environments.
- Familiarity with classification society rules, industry standards, and regulatory requirements governing the commissioning and operation of main machinery equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues and implement effective solutions under tight deadlines.
- Excellent project management abilities, including the capacity to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and manage project timelines effectively.
3. Other Information:
- Working Location: Northern of Vietnam for shipyard building
- Working mode: 5 working days per week, 22 working days per months upon calendar
- Working hours: 8 hours per day
- Salary: Negatiated
- Working duration: minimum 2 years + optional.
