JOB PURPOSE:

• Develop welding techniques, including but not limited to procedures,processes, and handbook as required.
• Get all the required qualifications approved by the Classification Societies and/or Clients.
• Ensure knowledge of production specifications, properties, and characteristics of metals and metal alloys, and sound engineering principles are in place for the development and maintenance of procedures
• Prepare technical reports after conducting research, development, and preventive maintenance investigations.
• Manage welder qualification database and welder list

REQUIREMENT:

• Engineer at the university level, experience as a welding Engineer in a Petrochemical or oil and gas plant offshore/onshore, or equivalent experience and training.
• Welding inspector certificate CSWIP 3.1/3.2 or equivalent.
• NDT inspector certificates.
• At least 5 years experience in a petrochemical plant or oil and gas plant offshore/onshore, or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of the welding work control of the maintenance contracts in the petrochemical plant, oil, and gas plant offshore/onshore, or equivalent
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations.
• Maturity of the judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems.
• Strategic thinking, open to new ideas.
• An ability to achieve business results working in a multicultural environment
